Az. Vitiv. DU CROPIO

Du Cropio produces in Cirò Marina, on the Crotone coast, where Gaglioppo finds one of its most complete expressions. The estate operates within two contiguous denominations of the Crotone area, Cirò and Melissa, rigorously adhering to the regulations governing Calabria's symbolic grape variety and its accompanying suitable grapes. Cirò Marina is a land of wind and sun, and the winery makes this its daily working horizon. The versions produced follow the scale prescribed by the regulations—standard, superiore, and riserva—with a minimum alcohol content of 12%. The volcanic soils and proximity to the Ionian Sea contribute to the wines' character, imparting a mineral precision and a register of intense dark fruits. This is coastal viticulture that speaks primarily through Gaglioppo, interpreted in a territorial rather than spectacular key, and which finds its natural perimeter within the two denominations of the province.
