AZIENDA AGRICOLA ARBUSTO

Between the Cilento valley and the heights of Castel San Lorenzo, Azienda Agricola Arbusto operates in the protected wine and oil zones of the Salerno area, distributing its activity across five denominations. Four concern wine—among DOC and IGT—and are built on local grape varieties, from Aglianico to Piedirosso and Barbera; the fifth protects extra virgin olive oil, a Cilento DOP with a green-yellow hue and a spicy finish. This presence across multiple territories is not dispersion but a tool for interpretation: it allows for precise observation of the differences between the volcanic and calcareous soils of the province of Salerno, and for translating these into reds, whites, and an olive oil with a distinct profile. Cultivating across multiple areas means having a sample of soils and exposures at hand, and rendering their nuances without homogenizing them. The result is a portrait of inland Campania where vines and olive trees share the same agricultural landscape, each tied to its own protected origin.
