In Roccadaspide, where the Cilento area of Salerno rises towards the inland hills, Azienda Agricola Babbone Antonio distributes its work across five protected denominations that bring together vineyards and olive groves. The Cilento DOP extra virgin olive oil carries the bitter-spicy profile characteristic of the area, while four wine regions frame the winemaking production: from Castel San Lorenzo DOC to Cilento DOC, up to the broader Paestum IGT and Colli di Salerno IGT, which extend the view to the entire province. In the glasses, the territory tells its story through its grape varieties: Aglianico and Piedirosso provide the backbone for the reds, while Barbera and Sangiovese complete a repertoire that spans whites, reds, and rosés. It's a range that brings together different registers without losing focus, anchored to a geography that has defined for generations the way of cultivating in this southern corner of Campania, between the Cilento coast and the hills that enclose it to the east.
