AZIENDA AGRICOLA BOSILIO

In Campania, where olive groves and vineyards share the same sun-drenched slopes, Azienda Agricola Bosilio dedicates its work to five denominations. Only one pertains to extra virgin olive oil—Cilento DOP—while the other four belong to wine: Castel San Lorenzo DOC and Cilento DOC, flanked by the broader indications of Colli di Salerno IGT and Paestum IGT. On the enological front, the focus is on native southern red grapes—Barbera, Aglianico, Piedirosso—which impart structure and define a profile of reds that respect disciplinary parameters, starting from a minimum alcohol content of 11.5%. The oil, for its part, offers a bitter and spicy cut that signals its Cilento origin. Every label, both for wines and oil, points back to the same Campanian terroir, interpreted through different instruments: the two DOC and two IGT wines on one side, the DOP oil on the other, in a range that brings together five ways of expressing the same territory.
