AZIENDA AGRICOLA BOTTI EMILIANA

Azienda Agricola Botti Emiliana operates among the most recognizable terroirs of southern Campania, with vineyards stretching from Cilento to Paestum and the more circumscribed area of Castel San Lorenzo. Production primarily stems from Aglianico and Barbera, flanked by native grape varieties suited to the maritime climate of Salerno, and is articulated across four wine denominations, including DOC and IGT, which delineate a precise geography of the hinterland and coast. However, the cornerstone of the entire portfolio is Cilento DOP extra virgin olive oil, the fifth denomination of the estate: an oil with a yellow-green color and marked bitter and spicy notes, unequivocally declaring its territorial origin. Wine and oil proceed here in tandem, as two expressions of the same Salerno land, where the sea tempers the seasons and the soils yield products of character. The ensemble testifies to a declared vocation for labels and oil mills capable of narrating the landscape from which they come, rather than pursuing a uniform yield.
