Azienda Agricola Bruni

Azienda Agricola Bruni cultivates its vineyards on the red slopes of Maremma, where the cooler inland air allows Sangiovese to develop a mineral-edged complexity. The estate concentrates its work on a single denomination, Morellino di Scansano DOCG: a red wine that embodies the rigor of the Scansano area and the seven municipalities that define its territory, a precise rather than generic measure of where the wine originates. The disciplinary regulations dictate the conditions—at least 12.5% alcohol and the selection of black grape varieties—and the winery adheres to them as a method, not an external constraint. This adherence to the protocol reflects a clear choice: to let the Maremma terroir determine the wine's profile, including the inland freshness and red soils, without overpowering the grape with cellar intervention.
