Azienda Agricola Casamiglio – La Pioppa

On the slopes of Val Tidone, in the Piacenza area, Azienda Agricola Casamiglio – La Pioppa carries on three generations of farming. Here, Malvasia bianca aromatica, Moscato bianco, and Trebbiano romagnolo find the hills that nurture their character, and from these grape varieties comes the entire Val Tidone IGT range: white, red, and sparkling wines that tell the story of a territory more than a trend. The family management follows its own rhythms—bottling is guided by lunar cycles, sought to encourage more regular fermentations—and conceives each wine to last beyond the season of its release. These are deliberately sincere expressions, designed to withstand aging in the cellar rather than fading quickly. Those passing through Ziano Piacentino can verify this in person: the estate is open for visits, and it is there that the connection between the three generations and the hills of Val Tidone becomes most evident.
