AZIENDA AGRICOLA CASEBIANCHE

Castel San Lorenzo DOCCilento DOPCilento DOC+2

Azienda Agricola Casebianche operates within the protected territories of Cilento and Salernitano, with vineyards ranging from the restricted DOC Castel San Lorenzo to the broader Cilento areas, also relying on the IGT Colli di Salerno and Paestum. Five denominations in total, which outline a Campanian geography of reds from Barbera and Sangiovese, and expressions from Aglianico and Piedirosso, each calibrated to minimum alcohol thresholds designed not to betray the varietal definition. The particularity is that the portfolio doesn't stop at wine: the company also oversees the DOP Cilento for olive oil, producing oils recognizable by their characteristic greenish-golden color and bitter-spicy finish. It's a double rootedness—vineyard and olive grove—that tells the story of a territory in its entirety, without splitting its two souls. Casebianche is not open to the public, but its identity can be read in how it brings together five different protection marks, from the glass to the oil mill, as if they were chapters of a single interpretation of Cilento and its lands.
