Azienda Agricola Cerrino Società Semplice Agricola

Trezzo Tinella · Province of Cuneo · Piemonte

Asti DOCG

Azienda Agricola Cerrino cultivates the hills of Trezzo Tinella, in the Cuneo area, a land of aromatic white grape varieties in Piedmont. Moscato bianco is the cornerstone of its sole guaranteed denomination, Asti, flanked by complementary white grape varieties permitted by the production specifications. From this base, the winery produces multiple interpretations: dry versions, Metodo Classico sparkling wines, and the lightly sparkling wine that identifies the appellation, each bound by minimum alcohol content and controlled aging. It is the versatility of Moscato that allows for this range, from the aromatic exuberance of the sweet sparkling wine to the drier and tauter profile of recent reinterpretations, without ever loosening the connection to the terroir. Trezzo Tinella, with its exposures and soils, remains the reference point to which every bottle refers. Cerrino's work consists of harmonizing the immediate recognizability of one of Italy's most fragrant grape varieties with the rigor of rules that set its timing and alcohol levels, anchoring the aroma to a precise hilly geography.
