Azienda Agricola Cerutti Di Enrico Cerutti

🏡 Tastings & visitsAsti DOCG

On the hills of Cassinasco, where sandy soils and a cool climate favor aromatic white grape varieties, the winery founded by Enrico Cerutti in the 1930s has changed hands three times without changing course: first his son Giovanni, then his grandson Enrico from the vinifications of the 1960s. Today, the family cultivates about six hectares, applying Piedmont's integrated farming protocol since 1997, a system that has progressively brought environmental awareness into agronomic practices. Its sole denomination, Asti DOCG, is expressed in both sparkling and Metodo Classico versions, complemented by still white wines that complete the range. This work is built on a century of inherited expertise and familiarity with a circumscribed terroir, where the hand of each generation can be tasted in the glass. The winery is open to visitors: a stop in Cassinasco is worthwhile to taste Asti in its two versions, sparkling and Metodo Classico, directly on the six hectares where it originates, guided by those who have cultivated that soil for three generations.
