AZIENDA AGRICOLA CICALE FELICE
Five denominations define the scope of Azienda Agricola Cicale Felice, stretching across Cilento and the Salerno area, encompassing a total of two hundred and ninety-five municipalities, from Paestum to the Colli di Salerno. Four relate to wine—the Castel San Lorenzo DOC and Cilento DOC, and the Colli di Salerno IGT and Paestum IGT—while the fifth, Cilento DOP, belongs to olive oil: a dual register, between vineyard and olive grove, that unites the two vocations of the Campania coast. On the wine front, the estate cultivates Aglianico, Piedirosso, and Primitivo, structured grapes with minimum alcohol levels between ten and eleven and a half percent, which convey the slate-grey minerality of the soils and the dense dark fruit typical of this coastal strip. The Cilento DOP extra virgin olive oil, on the other hand, carries the green-yellow hue of the territory, with a fruity profile accompanied by spicy notes. By traversing both wine and oil within the same geographical perimeter, Cicale Felice tells the story of a Cilento that expresses itself through two primary products, each codified by its own denomination and linked to the same landscape.
