Azienda Agricola Cottini Marco Soc. Agricola Semplice

In Fumane, among the slopes of Valpolicella, Azienda Agricola Cottini Marco maintains direct control over every step, from harvest to bottling. There are two denominations, both DOCG and born from the same *appassimento* method: Amarone della Valpolicella and Recioto della Valpolicella, one dry and powerful, the other sweet, both crafted from Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella. The measure of time here is generational. The first bottles date back to the 1930s, signed by Marco's grandfather, and since then three generations have passed down the work of vineyard and cellar. This knowledge is evident in the wines, aged in search of depth and complexity rather than immediate effect. Visitors to the winery can observe firsthand how the care of the vine row translates into the glass: a tasting in Fumane is the most direct way to understand the distance that separates dried grapes from the finished wine.
