In Nocera Inferiore, on the volcanic soils of the Agro Nocerino area, Azienda Agricola Cuomo Giuseppe works with five protected denominations: four wine appellations and Cilento DOP extra virgin olive oil. The red repertoire draws from the most deeply rooted Campanian varieties—Aglianico, Barbera, and Piedirosso—to articulate labels ranging from the mineral definition of Castel San Lorenzo DOC and Cilento DOC to the breadth of the IGTs Colli di Salerno and Paestum. Each wine is shaped by the microclimates that fragment the Salerno province, yielding a different profile each time, even when starting from the same grapes. Alongside the wines, the fruity and peppery-finished Cilento DOP olive oil is not merely a complement but the foundation of an integrated supply chain, extending from the field to the bottle without intermediaries. This operation interprets the entire Salerno heritage, bringing together vineyards and olive groves in a single understanding of the territory, where the agricultural gesture precedes and supports the oenological one.
