Chianti DOCG

Between Empoli and Vinci, in the province of Florence, Fattoria Bini has traversed the history of Chianti since 1802. Today, two brothers lead a multi-generational estate spanning 400 total hectares, of which 33 are vineyards and 25 are olive groves, organized around Villa del Terraio, the family residence, and Borgo San Giusto, which serves as its hospitality face. This is a property that measures time in generations rather than vintages. The sole denomination, Chianti DOCG, is born here from Sangiovese and regional grape varieties, in a territory that offers favorable conditions and yields reds with a minimum alcohol content of 11.5%. These are wines deeply rooted in Tuscan geology rather than enotourism routes: the Bini family's choice prioritizes the character of the soil over commercial ease. Two centuries of family continuity are read less in a label than in a way of being on the land—patient, rooted, indifferent to fleeting trends.
