AZIENDA AGRICOLA FORINO IDA

Azienda Agricola Forino Ida extends its work across the province of Salerno, amidst hills and varying altitudes, overseeing five protected denominations. The cornerstone remains Cilento—present both as a DOC, with its fifty-eight municipalities, and as a DOP recognition—flanked by the Castel San Lorenzo DOC and the geographical indications Colli di Salerno and Paestum, the latter covering the broader scope of production. The palette of grape varieties reflects this terroir diversity: Aglianico, Barbera, and Piedirosso give body to structured reds, while Coda di Volpe defines the whites. The result is a repertoire spanning red, rosé, and white, testifying to a control exercised over different soils and altitudes rather than the repetition of a single style. It is an interpretation of a territory, that of the Salernitano wine region, captured in its variations rather than reduced to a single characteristic.
