Azienda Agricola G. Milazzo Spa

On the hills northeast of Campobello di Licata, in the province of Agrigento, Azienda Agricola G. Milazzo operates at an altitude of 400 meters, cultivating two distinct denominations in nature and product. The first is Sicilia DOC, with 97 hectares of vineyards: the altitude and soil morphology lend an aromatic freshness to the reds and rosés that harmonizes with the maturity of the Mediterranean climate. Nero d'Avola, Nerello Mascalese, Syrah, and other permitted grape varieties yield wines that combine the finesse of altitude with the structure of the fruit. From the same hill comes the second denomination, Sicilia IGP in its olive oil expression: an extra virgin that meets strict parameters, at least 100 mg/kg of total polyphenols and an acidity not exceeding 0.5%. Wine and oil thus share soil and altitude, two interpretations of the same Agrigento landscape. The company does not offer visits: it is the glass and the bottle of oil that testify to the connection with this elevated portion of the Sicilian hinterland.
