AZIENDA AGRICOLA GARGARO

On the hills between Paestum and Trentinara, at four hundred meters above sea level in the municipality of Cicerale, the Gargaro farm cultivates six hectares that the family has overseen for over five centuries. Antonio, Giuseppe, and Marco have planted Cilento DOC vineyards—Aglianico, Piedirosso, and Trebbiano among the selections—on soils shaped by generations of agricultural work. The portfolio includes five protected denominations, distributed across different registers. On one side, the wines: the two Campanian DOCs, Castel San Lorenzo and Cilento, alongside the IGT Colli di Salerno and Paestum, which broaden the range towards freer expressions. On the other, the extra virgin olive oil, protected by Cilento DOP, completing the circle of a fully cultivated estate. The choice of exclusively organic methods unites these two souls, preserving soil fertility and product profile. The result is a snapshot of a Salerno territory interpreted through vine and olive tree, without hierarchy between what is drunk and what is poured.
