AZIENDA AGRICOLA GIORDANO ROSA

In Tramonti, on the terraces of the Salerno area, Azienda Agricola Giordano Rosa oversees five certified denominations that intertwine oil and wine. The extra virgin olive oil comes from Cilento DOP, recognizable by its green-yellow hue and spicy finish; the wine is distributed across four distinct origins: the two DOCs Cilento and Castel San Lorenzo for structured reds and sparkling whites, and the two IGTs Paestum and Colli di Salerno for a freer expressive range. It is a broad productive geography, stretching along seventy kilometers of regulated viticultural zones. Within this perimeter, Aglianico, Barbera, and Piedirosso find a coastal voice rather than an inland one, shaped by contact with the sea and terraced slopes. The coexistence of an olive oil DOP and four wine denominations tells of a company that interprets the Cilento territory on multiple registers, from fatty matter to fermented, without obvious hierarchies between the two worlds. The result is an extensive guardianship of an entire agricultural landscape, captured in its various certified forms.
