Azienda Agricola HORA operates in Cerveno, a village in Valcamonica where alpine microclimates impact every vintage, within the boundaries of the Valcamonica IGT denomination. The varietal selection focuses on grapes that best withstand this mountain environment: Riesling Renano and Müller Thurgau, rooted in the area's history, alongside the Incrocio Manzoni hybrid, for a range that spans from dry wines to more complex passiti. This production makes altitude and calcareous soil its reference parameters, within an area that embraces twenty-four municipalities and outlines the most unusual face of enological Lombardy, that of a cold climate. Here, the cold is not a limit but the very condition of the style, guaranteeing acidity and aromatic definition. HORA measures its work by its fidelity to this alpine terroir, rather than by the pursuit of volume.
