AZIENDA AGRICOLA IL COLLE DEL CORSICANO

At the foot of the Cilento coast, Azienda Agricola Il Colle del Corsicano manages organic vineyards spread across two distinct terroirs. The red grape varieties — Aglianico and Primitivo — find their home in San Marco di Castellabate, while a vineyard overlooking the sea in Punta Licosa produces whites characterized by minerality and persistence, in a constant dialogue between hill and shoreline. This dual rootedness gives rise to five denominations: Cilento DOC and Castel San Lorenzo DOC wines, alongside IGT Paestum and Colli di Salerno, and completing the picture, a Cilento DOP extra virgin olive oil with yellowish-green hues, marked by its distinct bitter and spicy notes. Wine and oil together narrate the same Mediterranean geography, interpreted through different soils, exposures, and distances from the sea. Visitors to the farm can explore both production sites and taste on-site how the proximity to the Cilento coast leaves a direct mark on every bottle, from the saline whites of Punta Licosa to the structured reds of the hinterland.
