Azienda Agricola La Pagliara

In Travo, among the nine municipalities of Val Tidone in the province of Piacenza, Azienda Agricola La Pagliara operates within a single geographical indication, which gives its name to the valley. White varieties are the signature of the area: Malvasia aromatica, Moscato, and Trebbiano romagnolo, translated into still whites, reds, and sparkling wines that reflect the Emilia hill profile. The register is one of fruit and aroma, without excessive structure. Each label respects the Val Tidone IGT parameters, with a minimum alcohol content of 10.5% that balances lightness and substance. This production does not pursue concentration but fragrance: wines designed for the table, where Malvasia sets the aromatic tone and the bubbles of the frizzanti lighten the whole. La Pagliara interprets this corner of the Piacenza Apennines as a territory of straightforward wines, measured by the recognizability of the grape variety rather than the ambition of prolonged aging.
