Val Tidone IGT

Le Torricelle is located in Agazzano, in the Piacenza corridor of Val Tidone, where fragmented microclimates across nine municipalities reward only meticulous viticulture. The winery produces Val Tidone IGT wines crafted from three white grape varieties — Malvasia bianca aromatica, Moscato bianco, and Trebbiano romagnolo — vinified in still, red, and sparkling versions, with a minimum alcohol threshold of 10.5%. The choice of a few grapes, worked in different styles, reveals the intention: not to multiply labels but to interpret the same territory from multiple angles. Each bottle retains the aromatic signature of the area, which Malvasia, in particular, clearly expresses, maintaining the regional balance upon which the denomination rests. It is a work of precision rather than breadth, where soil fragmentation becomes an advantage rather than an obstacle. The winery is not open to the public, entrusting its Val Tidone wines with the task of fully conveying the character of this corner of western Emilia.
