AZIENDA AGRICOLA PEPE

In the Cilento National Park, in Castel San Lorenzo, Azienda Agricola Pepe distributes its work across five protected denominations that span two different worlds. On one side, wine, with DOC Castel San Lorenzo and Cilento, and IGT Paestum and Colli di Salerno; on the other, olive oil, with Cilento DOP, an extra virgin with a green-yellow palette and a peppery character. This dual vocation stems from an equally dual lineage. The maternal branch built the milling and olive-growing culture of the territory; the paternal branch traces back to the founding members of the local cooperative winery. Today, these two legacies converge in the same project: reds based on Barbera, Sangiovese, and native grape varieties of Southern Campania, alongside an oil that carries the essence of the same land. Producing within the confines of a national park is not a mere detail, but the framework that unites the two souls of the company.
