Azienda Agricola Ronchi

In Borgonovo Val Tidone, in the province of Piacenza, Azienda Agricola Ronchi produces wines under the Val Tidone IGT denomination, a protection that covers nine municipalities in western Emilia-Romagna and defines their boundaries. It is a border Apennine valley, where the Piacenza winemaking tradition looks to both the plain and the hills, and the IGT leaves room to interpret its nuances. Borgonovo sits at the mouth of this valley, a natural starting point to tell its story in the glass. The range begins with aromatic white grapes—Malvasia bianca aromatica and Moscato bianco—alongside Trebbiano romagnolo, and is articulated in still, red, and sparkling versions, with a minimum alcohol content of 10.5%. It's a spectrum that prioritizes drinkability and aroma, reflecting the valley's character without forcing its tones. More than a single representative wine, Ronchi offers a choral interpretation of Val Tidone, where the aromaticity of the grapes and the freshness of the bubbles coexist within the same denomination without hierarchies.
