AZIENDA AGRICOLA SALERNO ANNARITA

In Castel San Lorenzo, in southern Campania, Azienda Agricola Salerno Annarita works volcanic and calcareous soils where five protected names overlap. The cornerstone is Cilento DOP extra virgin olive oil, with its green-yellow hue and peppery finish; around it revolves a range of wines spanning the Castel San Lorenzo and Cilento DOC denominations and the Colli di Salerno and Paestum IGT indications, crafted from the region's key grape varieties—Aglianico, Barbera, and Piedirosso—in red, white, and rosé versions. This array tells two stories simultaneously: the variety of Cilento terroirs and the choice to oversee them all, from oil to wine, without abandoning any register. The coexistence of five denominations is not dispersion but mapping, an attempt to give voice to every nuance of a territory nestled between hills, limestone, and volcanic influence.
