AZIENDA AGRICOLA SAVINO ANTONIO

Castel San Lorenzo DOCCilento DOPCilento DOC+2

In the southern provinces of Campania, Azienda Agricola Savino Antonio oversees five denominations that draw an unusually wide range, from the circumscribed Castel San Lorenzo DOC to the vast basin of Colli di Salerno IGT, passing through Cilento DOC and Paestum IGT. On the wine front, the winery cultivates Barbera, Aglianico, Piedirosso, and Primitivo — black grape varieties suited to the Salernitano climate — from which it produces whites, rosés, and reds according to their respective regulations. Alongside these four wine denominations is a fifth, of a different nature: Cilento DOP, under which the local olives become an extra virgin olive oil with a green-yellow color, a fruity profile, and the bitter-spicy notes that mark its character. Together, they tell the story of a producer who brings together vines and olive trees across an extended geographical front, moving between denominations of very different scales without abandoning either world.
