Azienda Agricola Scraleca

Azienda Agricola Scraleca is located in Darfo Boario Terme, within the Valcamonica area, which includes twenty-four municipalities. The varietal selection looks north: Riesling Renano, Incrocio Manzoni, and Müller Thurgau, grape varieties that demand freshness and altitude from the Lombard alpine climate. This is mountain viticulture, calibrated to the cold microzones where these Central European grapes find their ideal conditions. The production is articulated into dry whites, reds, and passiti, vinified with a minimum alcohol content of 11.5%. Through transalpine varieties, Scraleca interprets an alpine terroir unusual for the peninsula, where altitude and temperature excursions become allies of aromaticity. The result is a profile that gives little to southern warmth and much to tension: wines that speak of a valley nestled between mountains rather than a sun-drenched plain. In this Lombard corner, the vine coexists with a severe climate, and it is precisely from that rigor that it draws the clarity that defines its character.
