In Torchiara, between the protected hills of Cilento and the plain descending towards the temples of Paestum, Azienda Agricola Siniscalchi Montereale Michele operates around an eighteenth-century farmhouse, where olive trees and vines share the same terroir. Michele Siniscalchi manages a dual production, agricultural before commercial, favored by a microclimate that suits both the olive grove and the vineyard. The oil is the most recognizable chapter: the Cilento DOP extra virgin olive oil carries fruity aromas and a peppery note on the finish, a signature of its cultivar. Alongside flows the wine, articulated across five overall denominations that cover the entire Salerno area—from the DOCs of Castel San Lorenzo and Cilento to the IGTs of Colli di Salerno and Paestum—with Aglianico marking the most focused red register. Historic cultivars and soil chemistry thus converge in every bottle and every pressing, returning a slice of southern Campania where olive and vine cultivation support each other without ever blending.
