AZIENDA AGRICOLA TENUTA MAZZACANE

Tenuta Mazzacane oversees the Salerno Cilento, a landscape of strong contrasts where Monte Stella acts as a watershed between hills and coast. The farm practices regenerative agriculture with organic certification and doesn't limit itself to the vineyard: from its own goat farm, it produces Cacioricotta del Cilento and aged cheeses, falling under the Cilento DOP denomination. On the oenological front, the winery complements its cheesemaking with four denominations, intertwining the DOCs of Cilento and Castel San Lorenzo with the indications of Paestum and Colli di Salerno. Aglianico, Barbera, and indigenous grape varieties translate the slopes and exposures of this territory, straddling mountain and sea, into the bottle. The result is a comprehensive agricultural portrait, in which wine and milk originate from the same land and the same cultivation approach, measured by respect for the soil and its seasons, never separating the cellar from the stable.
