AZIENDA AGRICOLA TERRA DI BRIGANTE

Terra di Brigante is a small family farm in Casalduni, behind Benevento, overlooking the Taburno massif. The name harks back to its geography: the spot where, during the years of Italian unification, brigands found refuge at the center of a triangle of villages. From these slopes emerge five denominations, bringing two worlds together. On one side, the extra virgin Cilento DOP olive oil, with its green-yellow color and fruity notes with bitter and spicy finishes; on the other, the wines, distributed among the controlled denominations Castel San Lorenzo and Cilento, and the geographical indications Paestum and Colli di Salerno. This range tells the story of a corner of Campania where olive and vine coexist on the same slopes, with neither prevailing over the other. The management remains family-sized, evident in the care rather than the sheer numbers. By reservation, the farm offers visits with tastings and dining experiences: the most direct way to appreciate the oils and wines of this territory.
