AZIENDA BIODINAMICA CANTABELLINA

Barbera d'Asti DOCGRuchè di Castagnole Monferrato DOCGTerre Alfieri DOCG

In the most demanding corners of Piedmont, Cantabellina interprets biodynamic viticulture as a regenerative practice, where soil care precedes the bottle. Their production is structured around three distinct DOCG denominations: the rare Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato, which yields mineral and fragrant reds from ancient grape varieties; Terre Alfieri, capable of uniting Arneis in white and Nebbiolo in a structured version; and Barbera d'Asti, a benchmark red for the entire Asti area. Biodynamic certification is not just a label but a method that dictates the rhythm of the vintage: the soil's pulse, the timing of the harvest, the choice of picking moment. The declared goal is to precisely express the terroir, reducing intervention in the cellar in favor of interpreting the place. The result is a range that covers both whites and reds without sacrificing a common identity: wines designed to tell the story of the variety of Monferrato soils rather than the skill of correcting them.
