Azienda Cecchi

Founded in 1893 in Castellina in Chianti, Azienda Cecchi interprets Tuscany through Sangiovese, the grape variety that structures its entire production. Family continuity, passed down from generation to generation, is measured here by the patience of long periods rather than immediate effect. The sole denomination overseen is Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, obtained from Prugnolo gentile—the local name for Sangiovese—and aged for twenty-four months before bottling. It is a wine that reflects the identity of the hill that generates it: the connection to the land and attention to detail translate into a recognizable character, where prolonged maturation smooths the material without extinguishing its territorial timbre.
