Azienda Vitivinicola Di Legami di Sebastiano Polinas

On the hills of the Trapani countryside, Azienda Vitivinicola Di Legami extends across about one hundred hectares where the wind and light of Sicily forge its wines. Production moves between Sicilia DOC and Sicilia IGP, drawing from both indigenous grape varieties — Nero d'Avola, Frappato, Nerello Mascalese — and international varieties, for a range that covers red, white, and rosé. The two denominations mark the two registers of the house: the discipline of the DOC and the expressive freedom of the IGP. The current leadership intertwines two threads: a family succession and the vision of an enologist of Sardinian origin, who grafts new technologies and a concrete focus on sustainability onto inherited knowledge. The result is a wine that aims to be a mirror of the soil before a business card, measured by the character of the territory and a more conscious production. The winery opens its doors: a visit among the vineyards and in the cellar allows one to taste on-site how indigenous and international varieties dialogue, and how the enologist's hand translates them into the bottle.
