BALDI MARIO

Castelli di Jesi Verdicchio Riserva DOCGCònero DOCGVerdicchio di Matelica Riserva DOCG+1

Four DOCG denominations define the Marche geography of Baldi Mario, distributed between structured reds and long-lived whites. The Cònero is born from Montepulciano and Sangiovese and requires at least twenty-four months before reaching the glass; alongside, two interpretations of Verdicchio — from Matelica and Castelli di Jesi, both in Riserva version — are aged no less than eighteen months, measuring the grape's ability to gain depth over time. Completing the range is the Vernaccia di Serrapetrona, obtained from the rare Vernaccia nera in the three municipalities of the area and offered as a sparkling wine and a red. It is a portfolio that covers different registers without dispersing, held together by attention to the stratification that the Marche terroirs impose: prolonged aging times, indigenous grape varieties, and some of the region's most demanding denominations. Baldi Mario thus operates on ground where structure is not an effect, but the result of a discipline applied vintage after vintage.
