A single denomination defines Barbero's Vini, but the Roero DOCG is enough to justify an entire body of work. Spread across nineteen municipalities in Piemonte, this area entrusts its identity to two grape varieties: Nebbiolo for reds and Arneis for whites, with sparkling wine completing the triad. The winery allows its bottles to rest for at least twenty months, the time necessary for the tannic and aromatic structure to find balance. The approach remains one of precision rather than abundance. The labels achieve a minimum of 12.5 percent alcohol and adhere to the parameters imposed by the regulations, choosing indigenous and regional grape varieties that interact with Roero's sandy soil. This producer concentrates energy on a single territory, interpreting it through red, white, and sparkling wines, and entrusting each version with the task of conveying the character of a clearly defined denomination.
