Barbiero Enrico

In Cinto Euganeo, on the volcanic hills of the Colli Euganei, Barbiero Enrico entrusts its identity to a single aromatic grape variety, Moscato giallo, which gives body to the winery's sole denomination: Colli Euganei Fior d'Arancio DOCG. The protected area spans seventeen municipalities, where soils of magmatic origin and a particular microclimate create a terroir capable of concentrating aromas and substance in the white grapes, even before they enter the cellar. The work proceeds within demanding regulations—a minimum alcohol content of 10.5% and stringent varietal rules—which do not suppress the expressive possibilities of Moscato giallo, but rather organize them. The same grape is interpreted in different styles: still whites with a dry profile, sparkling wines with an aromatic perlage, and denser passito versions. The result is a range that combines olfactory immediacy with evolutionary potential, reflecting in each label the signature of the Colli Euganei and the character of a grape that finds one of its most recognizable expressions here.
