Barbaresco DOCGBarolo DOCGDogliani DOCG+1

Clavesana has made Dolcetto its grammar, and Giuseppe Barbotto's winery works a terroir among the most demanding in Piedmont, where Nebbiolo demands long waits to reveal itself: at least twenty-six months for Barbaresco, thirty-eight for Barolo. From this geography arise four DOCG denominations that outline two distinct families. On one side, the immediate and fragrant reds built on Dolcetto—Dogliani and Dolcetto di Diano d'Alba—wines of straightforward drinkability and full fruit. On the other, the rigorous expressions of Nebbiolo: Barolo with its articulated structure and Barbaresco, which tempers power with finesse, both entrusted to prolonged aging that demands respect. Each vintage bears the mark of climatic conditions and varietal response, without shortcuts. The producer's skill is measured precisely in the ability to interpret the vintage and guide it, from the most accessible red to the structured pinnacle of the range, where nothing is left to improvisation.
