Bariselli Gabriella

In Erbusco, on the morainic hills sloping towards Lake Iseo, Bariselli Gabriella produces from her own vineyard a single type of wine of the highest definition: Franciacorta, the Lombard *metodo classico* with DOCG status. Chardonnay and Pinot Nero form the base for *spumante* and *rosato* wines where freshness is not a stylistic detail but the very signature of the territory. That minerality originates from the morainic soils and a microclimate tempered by the nearby body of water, but it is also built during fermentation, which the company—active since 1972—claims as a distinctive trait, followed with meticulous control. The result is taut, vertical bubbles, far from complacent softness, where the second fermentation in the bottle works with time to enhance finesse. The winery opens its doors to those who wish to understand all this firsthand: a visit with tasting allows guests to follow the stages of the method and compare the different expressions directly in the cellar, with the Iseo landscape as a backdrop.
