In Silvi, on the Teramo hills, Barone Sorricchio di Valforte preserves a legacy dating back to a 14th-century baronial fiefdom. Today, the family—Francesco, Guido, and Annamaria Sorricchio—focuses its name on a single denomination: Aprutino Pescarese DOP extra virgin olive oil, recognizable by its yellow-green color and the herbaceous notes typical of this part of Abruzzo. It's an oil that carries the mark of the territory even before that of the cellar.
