Bel Colle

In Verduno, Bel Colle is managed by enologists Luca Bosio and Mario Albrito across ten hectares scattered between the Langhe and the Asti area. The vineyard heritage touches some of the noblest crus—Monvigliero for elegance, Bussia for structure—alongside Barbaresco, Moscato, and Barbera vines, drawing a map that reflects the variety of these hills. But the protected denomination that takes shape here is just one: Alta Langa DOCG, Piedmont's classic method sparkling wine. It is born from manual harvesting, delicate pressing, and controlled macerations, a sequence of technical choices where each step is calibrated to bring out the character of the territory rather than obscure it. Nothing is left to automation: the human touch intervenes where it matters, from harvesting to must processing. The result is a sparkling wine that bears the signature of a specific place and those who interpret it. Visitors to the Verduno winery can closely follow this work and taste Alta Langa in the context of the vineyards that generate it.
