Bellenda

In the hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene, Bellenda has chosen to question the Glera grape instead of taking it for granted. For over thirty years, the winery has practiced the metodo classico, an approach that the region had abandoned around 1930 and which here comes back to life to reveal a less common side of Prosecco Superiore, the sole denomination on which their work focuses. The commitment goes beyond consolidated interpretations: by varying vinification and sparkling techniques, the winery seeks hidden dimensions within the same grape variety, bringing it from still to frizzante to full sparkling versions. It's an idea of Glera as a material to be explored, capable of yielding different complexities from a single territory. A visit to the cellar makes this spectrum evident: tasting its forms in sequence is the most direct way to understand how much a single grape can express when listened to with curiosity.
