Benanti Ciro

In Contessa Entellina, a Palermo area renowned for wines and oils, Ciro Benanti operates with four decades of field experience. The company has exclusively chosen organic farming, combining traditional methods with more recent processes to ensure the healthiness and authenticity of flavors. The work proceeds on two protected tracks: on one side, Sicilia DOC wines, made from Nero d'Avola, Nerello Mascalese, and other grape varieties in white, rosé, and red versions; on the other, Sicilia IGP extra virgin olive oils, which adhere to rigorous specifications for acidity and polyphenols. The two denominations coexist under the same hand, now safeguarded by the current generation with a quality also designed for export. The winery opens its doors to visitors: a stop in Contessa Entellina is worthwhile to taste the wines and oils in sequence, and to grasp how vines and olive trees share the same land and the same organic discipline.
