Benazzoli Fulvio Soc. Agr. Semplice

Fulvio Benazzoli's estate spans four generations and an extensive territory, from the Trentino valleys to the Valpolicella hills and the eastern shore of Lake Garda. In Pastrengo, the management is now in the hands of Claudia and Giulia, who work according to a declared principle: observe the territory, listen to its signals, and intervene only when necessary. The two denominations produced belong to the same family of passito wines: Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG in its dry and powerful version, and Recioto della Valpolicella DOCG in its sweet expression. Both are born from the Veronese trio—Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella—and seek depth through time rather than artifice, as a result of waiting and listening rather than forcing. It is a viticulture that measures itself by patience. Visitors to the estate in Pastrengo can closely follow this transformation from dried grapes to wine and taste the two expressions side by side, appreciating their kinship and their distinctiveness.
