Benini s.s.

Benini s.s. operates in Lavagno, within the Veronese area of Amarone and Recioto della Valpolicella, two DOCG denominations that share the same trio of grape varieties: Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, and Rondinella. From these grapes, the winery produces a dry red aged for at least 24 months and a Recioto offered in both still and sparkling versions, thus embracing both the dry and sweet registers of local tradition. The work is guided by a declared reference, the Greek ideal of *kalós kaì agathós*—external beauty and moral integrity as one—which here translates into wines built on clarity and proportion, without excess. The winery itself reflects this approach: a sober and functional space where production and hospitality follow the same linear character. It is also a place for tasting, and it's worth taking advantage: stopping in Lavagno means tasting the wines in the environment that conceived them, personally verifying the coherence between what you drink and how it is presented.
