Amidst the Colli di Conegliano, Bepin de Eto continues sixty years of viticultural work on a Treviso slope with a temperate climate. The sole denomination, a DOCG, encompasses grape varieties that speak to the area's diverse vocation: Manzoni bianco, Pinot bianco, and Sauvignon form the base of the white wines, while the territory also allows for characterful reds and passiti. Meticulous selection is the thread that binds the harvests, a method passed down from generation to generation, starting with Nicoletto. A minimum aging of four months is sufficient to bring into focus what the soil dictates: minerality and structural precision, rather than opulence. Taut whites, measured reds, and concentrated passiti coexist in a range that eschews spectacle in favor of balance. The winery's work is that of a patient artisan, who reads the climate of the hills like a score to be performed without forcing. A guardian of Conegliano viticulture, away from the spotlight of the surrounding Prosecco.
