Berloni Emilio
Fano · Province of Pesaro e Urbino · Marche
In the Cartoceto denomination area, amidst the hills of Pesaro and Urbino, Berloni Emilio produces extra virgin olive oil of distinct character. The protected area is among the most circumscribed: just four municipalities, a narrow geography that links each olive to a very precise geological and climatic context. From these slopes come oils that retain the green fruitiness and aromatic clarity typical of the Marche countryside. It is a territory of microclimatic variation, where exposure and altitude change from slope to slope, and olive cultivation responds to these differences with equal precision. The work aims to faithfully convey the imprint of the place rather than standardize its profile: the oil thus becomes a reading of the soil and climate from which it originates. In such a contained area, the denomination functions as a guarantee of belonging, and each bottle carries the essence of a zone that makes geographical boundedness its distinctive feature.
