Bertoldi

🏡 Tastings & visitsCustoza DOC

On the morainic hills that embrace Lake Garda, Bertoldi has been cultivating vines since 1932, when Emilio opened the winery and entrusted the craft to his sons Luigi and Giuseppe. The leap occurred in 1998, with a complex that brought together the cellar, wine shop, laboratory, and bottling facility: since then, it has remained the operational center of the company, now in its fourth generation. Around this structure revolves the research, guided by the Custoza DOC. The wine is born from the white grapes of the disciplinary—Garganega, Trebbiano Toscano, and Cortese—blended into a profile that the morainic soils render dry and savory. The company offers various interpretations, from the basic version to the superiore and the riserva, measuring the impact of time and selection on each. The doors are open to visitors for tastings that showcase these interpretations: a direct way to see how almost a century of family work condenses into a glass and how Lake Garda imprints its character on the white wines of the Veronese shore.
