BERTOLINO Azienda Agricola

Between southern and central Monferrato, Bertolino Azienda Agricola bases its identity on three Piedmontese denominations predominantly featuring red grapes. The cornerstone is Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato DOCG, a unique red wine crafted from the eponymous grape variety and linked to a compact area of just seven municipalities. Alongside it is Barbera d'Asti DOCG, produced after a minimum aging of four months and spread over a much wider territory, encompassing one hundred and sixty-five municipalities. The third entry is Terre Alfieri DOCG, a dual denomination that spans aromatic varieties and black-skinned grapes. The distance between these two geographical extremes—the small patch of Ruchè and the vast Barbera area—speaks volumes about how the company operates: each label remains anchored to the terroir of its specific zone, without seeking a single profile that flattens differences.
