Bianchi

Bianchi works with three denominations spread across the Northeast, between Veneto and Friuli. In the Veronese area, it focuses on two DOCG denominations based on Garganega: Soave Superiore and Recioto di Soave. On one hand, dry white wines; on the other, opulent passito wines, with alcohol levels starting from a minimum of 12%. This is a territory of varietal tension, where a single grape generates opposing styles depending on whether the berry is vinified fresh or left to dry. The third front is Friuli Grave, a DOC that spans 93 municipalities and opens up a much broader palette: from Pinot grigio and Friulano to red Cabernet franc and Refosco, and even rosés. Here, the logic is no longer the depth of a single grape variety but the breadth of regional ampelography, with white, red, and rosé wines translating the diversity of the soils into the glass. Between the Veronese concentration and the Friulian expanse, the winery brings together two opposing ways of understanding the wine of the Northeast.
