BILANZOLA MARIA

In Potenza Picena, in the province of Macerata, Maria Bilanzola raises livestock on the Marche side of Agnello del Centro Italia IGP, her sole denomination. The animals follow a dual regimen: first milk feeding, then pasture, and are classified into light, heavy, or castrated carcasses according to their development. The denomination extends over 1,403 municipalities in central Italy, and this very breadth gives meaning to the work of individual farms: within such a vast area, consistency is built on breed selection and shared breeding standards. Bilanzola contributes to this profile from the Adriatic edge of the Marche, where the territory supports an ordered diet and regular growth.
